Congratulations to Coleman Greig’s Principal Lawyer, Erin Dawson, on being named winner of the 2026 Lawyers Weekly Partner of the Year Award for Wills & Estates.
Held on 4 June at The Star in Sydney, the Partner of the Year Awards recognise the outstanding achievements of Australia’s leading law firm partners and partner equivalents across a broad range of practice areas.
Erin leads Coleman Greig’s Wills & Estate Planning team and is an Accredited Specialist in Wills & Estates Law. She advises private clients across estate planning, administration and litigation, often involving complex, high-value and sensitive matters.
Her recognition reflects a year of significant achievement in leading complex estate disputes, advising many clients through their estate planning and contributing to the profession through her appointment to the Specialist Accreditation Advisory Committee. Erin was also recognised in the 2025 Doyle’s Guide as a Leading Wills & Estates Litigation Lawyer in NSW.
“I’m incredibly honoured to receive this award. It reflects the trust our clients place in us during what are often very personal and challenging times, and the strength and support of our team,” Erin said.
Coleman Greig’s Chief Executive Officer, Ashley Lamb, said, “Erin’s recognition as Wills & Estates Partner of the Year is a testament to her technical excellence, leadership and genuine care for her clients. She consistently delivers outstanding results while supporting and developing those around her, and we are incredibly proud of her achievement.”
More than 300 finalists were considered across 34 categories, with winners selected based on demonstrated professional excellence, leadership, innovation and contribution to the legal profession.
Congratulations, Erin.
