Erin Dawson

Biography

Erin Dawson is a Principal Lawyer and team leader of Coleman Greig’s Wills & Estate Planning team. Erin is an Accredited Specialist in Wills and Estates Law and recently accepted an appointment to the Specialist Accreditation Advisory Committee. She specialises in estate planning, estate administration and estate litigation.

With more than 20 years of experience in the legal sector, Erin is an astute and compassionate advisor to private clients, charities and church organisations.

Erin has substantial trial experience in the Supreme Court of New South Wales. She has a track record of success in litigation, including settling disputes on favourable terms. Her litigation experience includes family provision proceedings, contested probate proceedings, judicial advice applications and statutory will applications. Erin also excels in alternative dispute resolution.

Erin was ranked in the 2023 Doyles Guide of Leading Wills & Estates Litigation Lawyers in NSW. She was recognised in the same Guide in 2019 as a rising star lawyer in Australia in the area of Wills, Estates & Succession Planning.
