International Women’s Day Guessing Competition Prizes!

In the lead-up to our 2018 International Women’s Day forum with Tara Moss, Women in Business has already had a truly amazing level of support flow in from a long list of generous Corporate Supporters and Major Sponsors.

Alongside the financial support that we receive from these genuinely caring groups, many of our sponsors and supporters have once again gone above and beyond – supplying Women in Business with a list of exciting prizes, set to be won through our guessing competition, taking place as part of the March 8 forum.

With guessing competition tickets ranging from $20 each, to 3 for $50 and 7 for $100 – forum attendees will have the opportunity to test their luck whilst supporting an incredibly deserving cause, and with such a fantastic line-up of prizes, we’re expecting to see a whole lot of fingers and toes crossed on the day!

Our first prize, generously donated by our official 2018 Travel Partner Elite Travel, is a deluxe escape for two to Bhutan. Our competition winner, along with one lucky travel-buddy will be flown from Sydney to Bhutan, with 2 nights’ accommodation waiting for them at the Le Meridien in Thimphu, followed by another 2 nights at the Le Meridien in Paro.

This luxurious first prize also includes a complimentary city tour of Bhutan, as well as return airport transfers – so our winner will be able to sit back and relax knowing that absolutely everything has been taken care of.

Women in Business would like to give special thanks to our official travel partner Elite Travel, as well as Le Meridien, Qantas Airways and Bhutan Airlines for this seriously exciting first prize (conditions apply: the booking must be made by 30 April 2018, and the period of travel is between July – September 2018).

Our second competition prize, kindly donated by St. George Bank – one of our major sponsors, is a set of two tickets to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, as well as a $200 Westfield voucher! St. George Bank have been supporting our Women in Business forums for a number of years, so we would like to send a huge thankyou out to the entire St. George family for its ongoing support, not only in its capacity as a Major Sponsor, but for the Bank’s ongoing generosity with regard to competition prizes.

Our third prize of a Dinner and Show Package for two comes to us from another of our Corporate Supporters, Riverside Theatres – who have teamed up with Courtney’s Brasserie in Parramatta. Courtney’s Brasserie is located on Charles Street (a leisurely 12 minute stroll from the Theatres), and offers a menu defined by fresh, seasonal, local produce – sourced directly from their farmers. You can take it from us, local fresh produce never tasted so good!

Riverside Theatres itself is nestled in the midst of Parramatta’s Church Street Restaurant precinct. With three venues under one roof, and over 700 events taking place every year, there’s something on for everyone!

Women in Business would like to thank all of the above forum supporters, as well as absolutely everyone else who has generously donated prizes for our International Women’s Day guessing competition. All funds raised on the day are set to support The Sanctuary – The Hills Women’s Shelter, a wonderfully deserving women’s Shelter located in the Sydney Hills district. Since its opening in early 2016, The Sanctuary has worked to provide care and support to both women and children dealing with homelessness as a result of domestic violence – and with the support of our forum attendees, we’re looking to help their team of case workers continue with their incredibly important work.

Women in Business would like to say a big thankyou in advance to all attendees who are getting ready to purchase guessing competition tickets at our International Women’s Day event on March 8. Keep in mind that the above prizes, generously donated by our supporters and sponsors, are just three of the many exciting prizes to be won on the day – so there’ll be plenty more opportunities for attendees to try their luck!
