Biography
Kerri-Anne Kennerley is enjoying a long and distinguished career having interviewed world leaders, sporting icons, leaders of business and superstars. She is a highly respected national television presenter having graced our screens for thirty years.
Kerri-Anne started her television life on Channel Nine in Brisbane at just 12 years of age. She went on to host Good Morning Australia for 11 years, the then number one breakfast show in Australia.
Kerri-Anne’s influence moved into production and business as Chief Executive Officer and presenter on Radio 2CH for two years by John Singleton.
In 1996, Kerri-Anne produced and hosted an afternoon program for Channel 10 called Monday to Friday.
Kerri-Anne Kennerley was the first woman at the helm of the prestigious Midday show in 1997. She starred in Midday with Kerri-Anne for three years. From 2001 till 2012 she hosted Mornings with Kerri-Anne on Channel 9 which was live broadcasting.
Kerri-Anne has written two books “Kerri-Anne’s Life Energy” and “People I’ve Met, Places I’ve Been.”
She also served on the Council of the Order of Australia which is the organisation overseeing the distribution of the highest honors to great Australians. She has been nominated for the Gold Logie three times.
More recently at Channel 7 she performed on the hugely successful show “Dancing with the Stars”. Kerri-Anne is now enjoying working with Sunday Night on Channel 7 which is the number one current affairs program in Australia.
Away from the spotlight, Kerri-Anne Kennerley has been patron since 2009, for the Look Good Feel Better charity which helps women with all cancers.
Her longevity in the media and business is due to her style, dignity, humour and hard work. It has made her one of Australia’s television’s great ambassadors and a role model for women of all ages.
