Lisa Barca and Karina Penfold recognised as Accredited Specialists in Wills & Estates

Lisa and Karina are Principal Lawyers at Coleman Greig and co-lead the firm’s Wills & Estates practice.
Lisa is a highly knowledgeable and multi-award-winning lawyer. She was recently recognised as the Wills and Estates Winner of the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards. She controls matters involving family provision claims, enduring powers of attorney and appointments of enduring guardianship. Lisa understands the complexities which are often associated with the distribution of a client’s estate and combines her strong mindfulness with a sensitive approach.
Karina has extensive experience across estate planning and administration, contested estates, and elder law and abuse. She is compassionate and driven to achieving the best outcome for her clients. Recently she was named Best Wills & Estate Planning Specialist (New South Wales) in the 2023 Retirement Planning Awards.
Now, having undertaken a rigorous program of assessment with the Law Society of New South Wales, Lisa and Karina have become two of less than 100 Accredited Specialists in Wills & Estates Law practising in NSW.
What is Specialist Accreditation?
Specialist Accreditation is earned under the Law Society’s Specialist Accreditation Scheme. It is bestowed upon practising lawyers with demonstrated expertise in a practice area.
