Louise Sauvage OAM is an Australian icon, she shared her mentoring tips from the 2021 Paralympic Games.

Louise, a nine-time gold metal Paralympic champion, was officially elevated to ‘Legend of Australian Sport’ for her extraordinary career as an athlete and for her empowering efforts in raising the profile of Paralympic sports.
Since retiring from competition, Louise has been guiding the next generation of wheelchair athletes as the National Coach Wheelchair Track and Road at the NSW Institute of Sport. Louise mentors and teaches all levels of athletes and is passionate in helping others reach their goal. She has recently returned from coaching the Australian team at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.
