Funds raised on the day will go to OzHarvest who have been fighting food waste for over 17 years through their food rescue, education programs and sustainability work. In Australia 7.3 million tonnes of food is wasted every year. For every $1 donated, OzHarvest can deliver 2 meals to someone in need. With food relief at an all-time high, OzHarvest are helping people who have never needed this support before and have been severely affected by COVID-19.
