Greg Travers
Biography
Greg is the director in charge of William Buck’s taxation services division. Greg joined the taxation services division of William Buck in 1999 after seven years with KPMG in a more general business advisory role.
The work undertaken by Greg is primarily advising on specific tax issues such as buying and selling businesses; structuring and restructuring; tax planning and risk management; business succession planning; international transactions and ATO audits, rulings and objections.
Greg also regularly prepares and presents papers on various tax issues for The Tax Institute and the Institute of Chartered Accountants as well as other organisations and companies.
Greg was a finalist in the Tax Institute’s inaugural Tax Advisor of the Year Awards for 2014. He is also the author of the recently published book The Tax Advisors Guide to Part IVA, a practical guide to the tax general anti-avoidance rule.
