CBD-Style Legal Services Now on the Doorstep for Campbelltown-Macarthur Residents

Residents and businesses within the Campbelltown-Macarthur region now have access to a wider range of commercial and personal legal services, expertise and support following Coleman Greig Lawyers’ opening of offices in the centrally-located Oran Park Podium, effective Monday 22 July, 2019.

Warrick McLean, Coleman Greig’s CEO, said the continued expansion of Western Sydney’s leading law firm into the Campbelltown-Macarthur region was a genuine win for those living and working within the area.

“Coleman Greig’s move into the rapidly growing Campbelltown-Macarthur region provides local residents and businesses with easy access to superior legal advocacy and advice right on their doorstep.”

In recognition of the importance of its lawyers having a deep understanding of both the business and cultural landscape of the region, Coleman Greig’s new office is staffed by a carefully selected group of professional and administrative staff who are local to the area. With staff coming from areas such as Campbelltown and the Southern Highlands, clients can rest assured that their legal matters will be handled with the care, understanding and high level of capability that Coleman Greig is known for, by staff who have a genuine personal connection to the Campbelltown-Macarthur region.

Emma Macfarlane, a Principal Lawyer in Coleman Greig’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution team, said that “The Campbelltown-Macarthur region is dynamic and rapidly expanding, both in terms of commercial development and residential growth. With the introduction of our Oran Park office, I’m proud to be positioned to provide business owners and residents of my home community with access to highly specialised legal services at a firm with over 90 years history operating in and contributing to the community of Greater Western Sydney.”

A highly accomplished commercial litigator and Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation, Emma brings with her an impressive reputation that stems from her extensive experience and a number of years successfully managing a dispute resolution team.

For over 10 years, Emma has been a Director of Youth Solutions, a Macarthur based youth health promotion charity focused on drug and alcohol prevention amongst 12 – 25 year olds, as well as within the broader community.

Emma’s strong ties to the local community have also seen her successful and ongoing involvement in raising funds for the Ingham Institute, a not-for-profit medical research organisation committed to inspiring better health and driven by the needs of the Macarthur, Campbelltown, Camden and South-Western Sydney community.

Another key staff member joining Emma is Peter Stewart, a Principal Lawyer in Coleman Greig’s Commercial Advice team, who is now based in the firm’s Campbelltown-Macarthur office. As a longstanding resident and business owner in the Southern Highlands, Peter is passionate about helping businesses in the region to succeed.

Peter commented “My being permanently based at Oran Park gives me the opportunity to spend more time visiting local business owners, which I enjoy immensely, and will allow our firm to better provide those businesses with that personal attention that is so necessary when a legal issue arises.”

The new office will provide clients access to a wide range of high quality commercial and personal legal services, as well as a selection of training opportunities for business owners, including accounting and financial planning professionals. Conveniently located in Suite 2 on Level 2 of the Oran Park Podium, Coleman Greig Lawyers’ Campbelltown-Macarthur offices are easily accessible via public transport for clients within the Oran Park, Leppington, Gregory Hills, Campbelltown, Narellan and Camden regions.
