Coleman Greig Lawyers is incredibly proud to announce the firm has been ranked number 22 in the Top 50 Best Places to Work in Australia (100-999 employee category). As the only law firm in the top 25 it makes this achievement even more rewarding.
The study was conducted based on one of the world’s most comprehensive assessments of workplace culture by Great Place to Work Australia, a global research and consulting firm specialising in employee engagement, organisational alignment, and its effect on high performance workplaces cultures. The data for the study was collected prior and during the novel coronavirus outbreak. The results represent 39,156 Australian-based employees from 124 companies of various sizes.
“People have always been and will continue to be at the centre of everything we do, that includes our employees and the people within the local community,” said Coleman Greig CEO Warrick McLean. “Creating an inclusive culture is part of our DNA here at Coleman Greig. We are truly honoured to be listed as one of the top 50 workplaces in Australia.”
People and Capability Manager Elicha Reitsma, said “Our ongoing commitment to our people and clients is second to none. Culture is not built overnight it is something truly special that develops overtime.”
People, purpose, vision and community have always been a constant in Coleman Greig’s 90-year history. To date, the firm has raised over $1,000,000 for charity through the Coleman Greig Challenge and the Women in Business forum. The firm has five offices located across Greater Sydney. Over many years the People and Capability team together with the leadership team have paved the way in multiple areas such as gender equity, flexible working, mentorship, career succession planning and legal innovation.
Principal/Director and Ambassador for Women in Business Caroline Hutchinson, believes “It is the people that make Coleman Greig a great workplace. I am so proud of each individual’s unique contribution to the firm and extend my congratulations to each member of the Coleman Greig family.”
The firm welcomes legal innovation and continues to embrace the efficiencies that come with it. Since 2017, the firm has grown from having 10 Principal Lawyers to 17 in 2020. As a whole, the firm consists of 76 per cent female employees, 45 per cent are female Principal Lawyers and 60 per cent of females make up the board and management/leadership team. Gender is clearly no barrier at Coleman Greig.
“The organisations in the study are leading the way amid the pandemic, demonstrating care for their employees, customers and communities during this challenging time.” said Zrinka Lovrencic, Managing Director Great Place to Work Australia.
Please join Coleman Greig in celebrating this significant and meaningful milestone.
