Marcus has extensive experience in investment roles including over 13 years’ experience in private equity investing. Most recently, he spent just under 10 years at RMB Capital Partners, the mid-market Australian private equity fund backed by FirstRand of South Africa where he executed eight transactions and held four board directorships.

Prior to RMB, Marcus spent three years at iFormation Group, a private equity fund established by the Boston Consulting Group, Goldman Sachs and General Atlantic Partners focused on spin-outs from Fortune 500 companies. Marcus started his career at the Boston Consulting Group where he worked on a range of strategy and corporate finance engagements.

Marcus has extensive experience in fashioning transaction solutions and structures that work for both sides of a transaction, particularly partnership-style investments where the existing owners sell less than 100% of their equity stake.
